Crypto wallet address checker (BTC, LTC, USDT, ETH)
Paste an address to see which coin and network it belongs to and whether its checksum is valid. It catches typos and the most common "wrong network" mistakes before you send.

What it checks
| Address starts with | Coin / network | What is verified |
|---|---|---|
bc1q…, bc1p… | Bitcoin (SegWit, Taproot) | Bech32 / Bech32m checksum, witness version and length |
1…, 3… | Bitcoin (Legacy, Script) | Base58Check checksum and prefix |
ltc1… | Litecoin (SegWit) | Bech32 checksum |
L…, M… | Litecoin (Legacy, Script) | Base58Check checksum and prefix |
ltcmweb1… | Litecoin MWEB | Bech32 checksum |
D… | Dogecoin | Base58Check checksum and prefix |
T… | TRON — TRX and USDT TRC20 | Base58Check checksum and prefix |
0x… | Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and other EVM networks | Length, hex characters and EIP-55 checksum when mixed-case |
A checksum is a few extra characters calculated from the rest of the address. If you change or mistype one character, the checksum no longer matches — that is how this tool (and your wallet) can spot a typo.
What it cannot check
- Who owns the address. A valid address can still belong to someone else. Always copy it from the receiver's own wallet.
- The network for 0x addresses. The same 0x address works on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and more. The receiver must tell you which network they use.
- Solana addresses have no checksum, so typos cannot be detected — only the length and characters.
Before you send, every time
- Copy the address from the receiver's wallet; never type it by hand.
- Paste it here and check the coin and network.
- Compare the first and last 4–6 characters with the original.
- For a large amount, send a small test first.

Frequently asked questions
Is my address sent to a server?
No. The check runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Why does my Litecoin address start with 3?
Litecoin once used the same 3… prefix as Bitcoin for script addresses. Most Litecoin services now use M… instead, and some no longer accept 3… for LTC. Ask your wallet for a new ltc1… or M… address.
What is the difference between USDT TRC20 and ERC20?
They are the same stablecoin on two different networks. TRC20 uses TRON addresses that start with T; ERC20 uses Ethereum addresses that start with 0x. Sending on the wrong network can lose the funds.
The checker says valid — is it safe to send?
It means the address is well-formed for that coin. It cannot confirm that it is the right person's address, so still compare it with the source.
How do I know if a USDT address is TRC20 or BEP20?
TRC20 (TRON) addresses start with T and are 34 characters long. BEP20 addresses start with 0x and are 42 characters — the same format as Ethereum ERC20, so also check which network your wallet uses.
Can I get free crypto to test my address?
Yes — pick a coin in the free crypto faucet, paste the address you just checked and play to claim small rewards to it.
